“Our goal at Nature’s Photo Adventures is to lead photographic workshops to the some of the worlds most beautiful and unspoiled destinations while providing a rewarding and educational learning experience to our clients.”

“We strive to give our clients that ‘once in a lifetime’ experience that will not only give them the opportunity to go home with top notch images but also to have fun and take away a total travel experience.”

"We specialize in birds - but are constantly on the lookout for opportunities for our clients to create beautiful images of all parts of the natural world."

What makes us different from our competitors?

  • We have 2 workshop leaders for more personalized attention – groups can be split into two separate destinations within a workshop and have personalized instruction and guidance.
  • David and Glenn are two of the world’s top professional photographers in bird portrait and flight photography.
  • We utilize local guides with years of experience in their home areas.
  • We have more experience.  We have been to the places we will take you – not for a week or two – but for months!!  We know where to get the best possible images and can show you how to achieve them.
  • We are environmentally and socially aware.  When we visit communities around the world we give something back to these places and the people who live there.  We also offer guests the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint made during the trip.
  • At the end of each of our workshops we hold a final nights “banquet” where we share images, stories and give away prizes for best images, most improved, and other categories.

Glenn’s work has been published widely throughout North America in books and magazines (such as Birder’s World, Birding & Bird Watchers Digest).  His most recent book is entitled – “Birds in Ecuador: A Photographic Journey.”

Glenn loves to share his passion for photography and for the natural world with those who attend his photographic workshops and with participants of www.naturescapes.net where he is a moderator in the Birds forum.

"I attended a workshop with Nature's Photo Adventures this summer and I have to say that it was excellent in every aspect. The instruction was professional and I learned a TON of things about photographing birds. They went out of their way to make sure that I understood all of my camera operations and how to get the proper exposure for all types of shooting conditions. I will definitely be attending other workshops and highly recommend NPA to anyone who wants to take their photography to the next level!"

"I have had the pleasure of working with David Hemmings and Nature's Photo Adventures for David's one on one house call workshop. David came to my location and we went to shoot ducks at my favorite pond. After one day with David I was amazed at the shots I was able to achieve! I cannot recommend NPA highly enough. David even photographed me shooting the ducks and emailed me a framed picture of it! Talk about a nice touch!"
