“Our goal at Nature’s Photo Adventures is to lead photographic workshops to the some of the worlds most beautiful and unspoiled destinations while providing a rewarding and educational learning experience to our clients.”

“We strive to give our clients that ‘once in a lifetime’ experience that will not only give them the opportunity to go home with top notch images but also to have fun and take away a total travel experience.”

What makes us different from our competitors?

  • We have 2 professional photographer workshop leaders for more personalized attention – groups can be split into two separate destinations within a workshop and have personalized instruction and guidance.
  • David and Glenn are 2 of the world’s top photographers in bird portrait and flight photography.
  • Our workshops are suited to photographers of ALL levels.  We do everything we can to make sure that each participant gets the absolute most out of the nature photography workshop.
  • We utilize local guides with years of experience in their home areas.
  • We have more experience.  We have been to the places we will take you – not for a week or two – but for months!!  We know where to get the best possible images and can show you how to achieve them.
  • We are environmentally and socially aware.  When we visit communities around the world we give something back to these places and the people who live there.  We also offer guests the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint made during the trip

David Hemmings is a world-renowned bird photographer who is known throughout the nature photography world for creating some of the most dynamic and impressive bird-in-flight images anywhere today. His work has been published on the cover of National Geographic and has also appeared on the cover of numerous nature photography publications. His most recent book is entitled “On Feathered Wings”. David’s work is also currently on display as part of an exhibit at the American Museum of Natural History Ornithology Department in New York City. David enjoys teaching his talents to many others through teaching photography workshops and through the internets premier online nature photography website - www.naturescapes.net - where he is a moderator on the birds forum.

Glenn Bartley is a professional nature photographer from Victoria, British Columbia on Canada's west coast.  He focuses on capturing intimate portraits of birds in their natural surroundings. Glenn strives for what he calls “clean” images – where the subject is clear, distracting elements are kept to a minimum and the background is pleasingly blurred out of focus. Glenn’s work has been published widely throughout North America in books and magazines (such as Birder’s World, Birding & Bird Watchers Digest).  His most recent book is entitled – “Birds in Ecuador: A Photographic Journey.” Glenn loves to share his passion for photography and for the natural world with those who attend his photographic workshops and with participants of www.naturescapes.net where he is a moderator in the Birds forum.
